Hellsing: Caught Breathless

I just returned from Connecticon 2012! I had a truly fabulous time. I will be moving in a month, so this might be my last Connecticon for a while. This is an extremely bittersweet realization. I've been attending the convention since 2004, never missing one in 9 straight years. I met my true love there in 2006 and adore the people who I have had the honor to meet and whose dear friendships have been developed at this event. It is one of the best conventions in New England and I will dearly miss going, if I can't make it in 2013.
I will be moving to a place of comfort, beauty, and serenity, something that is desperately needed, but I will miss seeing those faces that I adore so much up North where I live now.

With that, here is the first photo from the event. It is of me and and Jen, one of my oldest and best friends. She kindly took out her Schrodinger costume out to cosplay with me as Blood Seras! She first made and wore this costume many years ago, before I had seen Hellsing. I always thought it was an adorable and fitting one for her.
